AIKSCC has given a call for all-India protest demonstrations before electricity dept. offices on 3rd February to support Strike Action Call given by Workers and Engineers of Electricity Sector to stop privatisation and loot of consumers including farmers, removal of subsidies etc. AIKSCC joins this call also in continuation of its demand of scrapping the Electricity Amendment Bill 2020. AIKSCC stresses on the need of active synchronisation of workers and farmers so that through unity the working class and common people are  able to resist the anti-national and anti-people policies of the NDA Govt.

AIKSCC condemns the disconnection of electricity, water, internet and social media handles and removing mobile toilets at Delhi borders by the Modi Govt. - these are a violation of constitutional and human rights. AIKSCC calls upon all sections of the society to protest against these repressive acts and come forward to expose the attitude of the Govt.

AIKSCC is dismayed to note that on the one hand the Modi Govt. is declaring that it wants to hold talks with farmers while on the other hand it is aggressively filing false criminal cases against, arresting and incarcerating farmers and leaders. AIKSCC demands immediate withdrawal of all cases against farmers and leaders which have been instituted to intimidate and browbeat farmers.

AIKSCC denounces the the pro-corporate anti-farmer Union Budget 2021, which has left the farmers high and dry, with massive cuts in allocation in the agriculture sector and diversion of allocations for agriculture to further the intrusion of the corporates in agriculture. With privatisation, input cost of farmers will increase as subsidy provided by the Govts will be eliminated. The Budget has actually destroyed the self reliance of the economy by further privatising all national assets and giving free hand to the corporate forces to take over the economy. The Budget has neglected long-standing demands of farmers to ensure appropriate MSP at C2+50% for all crops of all regions of the country. The farmers are in struggle at the borders of Delhi and all over India for the last many months but the Govt. is ignoring and neglecting the demands that the largest section of the producing classes have raised - this cannot be accepted and this exposes how much this Govt. is under the grip of forces of corporate monopoly.

AIKSCC has announced a one week-long campaign in villages from 3 to 10 February 2021 against RSS-BJP attack and Police Repression against farmers struggle which will include “Chakka Jam” program on 6th February.
